About Us

12 Apostles Apparel brings you daily essential streetwear with a message focused around bringing people together. Trying to bring more understanding and mercy into the world. We take inspiration from Christianity to spread a message we know is universal to all humans. Two bible verses that best embody this message are:

“Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?” - Matthew 7:3
+
“Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.” - John 8:7

These verses convey the ideals of 12 Apostles Apparel. Understand our own failures, so we can have understanding when others fail. This brand is designed to remind us that instead of judging others and bringing others down for their past mistakes, we should be focusing on ourselves and our own mistakes.

Asking the questions: How can I improve? How can I be a better person? How do I, a sinner, work to keep on trying to be better even after I failed a thousand times?

No one is without fault and it is always better to approach someone who has failed with love and mercy, instead of anger looking for sacrifice. It is better to help them get up when we see them struggle than nail them to the cross ourselves.

The brand is named after the original 12 apostles because they represent the message we hope to spread through this brand and its clothing. Chosen by Christ, NOT for their piety or purity, but chosen because of their failures and their desire to change. Through their failures, they approached God’s message with humility. Preaching not as “the chosen ones” but as imperfect individuals who believe everyone deserves love and mercy. It is the hope of this brand to spread this ideal of self growth over judgement of others. Let us not be the Pharisees but the Apostles Christ calls us to be.

My hopes for
12 Apostles Apparel

1. Reminder of Humility: I want this brand to remind myself and anyone else who relates, that we need to constantly humble ourselves. I never want to catch myself looking down at another, but always looking to bring up everyone around me.

2. Build a Community: I want to build a community around acceptance and love. We all come from different walks of life but it’s not about what we’ve done in our past but who we are trying to be that matters. And as this community continues to grow, I hope every person in this community continues to extend that love and acceptance to anyone they encounter.

3. Start a Conversation: Lastly, (cliché but true) I want to start a conversation through clothing. Not only with those NOT of the faith, but also with those IN the faith as well. We all need to be reminded that our job is to show God’s love and mercy, and it is God’s job to be the judge..
